A Case of Facial Hemiatrophy

Abstract

|
46- year-old woman had a progressive 2-year history of coin sized tissue wasting with mild itching sensation on the left suprazygomatic arch area (Fig. I.). She was admitted to Sacred Heart Hospital, Chung Ang University, because of recent exacerbation of her symptom. Examination revealed only a coin sized subcutaneous tissue wasting on the left suprazygomatic arch area(Fig. II.).
Radiographs of the skull showed a coin sized lucent defect on the superolateral to the left orbit,. but there was no abnormal finding in laboratory data.
